Villa Enigma

Dear guests,

We are so happy that you are looking posibility to spend your hollidays in our Villa Enigma. In June this year we tottaly rebuilt old house which was built in 1927.and we tried to implement everything that modern house should have still keeping few original details like a stone staircase or gloriet. We renew it with our own hands, with lot of hard work, love and patience and is now ready for you.

We are situated in beautifull, peacefull west part of Dubrovnik called Lapad, 15 min by local bus away from the Old town of Dubrovnik. Lapad is green hearth of Dubrovnik with two beautifull pine forests Mala i Velika Petka, lot of green parks, walking trails near the sea all over Lapad peninsula to Babin Kuk and back. You can easilly reach all kind of beaches – pebble, sand or rocks, all in walking distance of 15 minutes. And you can easily reach it also with local bus since you have a bus station literary in front of the house (50m), precisely two of them. Restaurants, coffee shops, shopping places, bakery, grocery stores, green market everything is near by.

If you are comming with a car don’t worry about parking place, we have a spaceous garage built for three car on upper house entrance.

The main house is consisted of: ground floor, I floor and II floor (attic), all together 180m2.

On ground floor there is separate toilet, wall hangings, one bedroom with private bathroom, open space living room with fully equiped kitchen and dining place from where you can walk out on terrase with swimming pool in front.

On I floor there are two bedrooms, each with private bathroom and entrance in gloriet, nice terrase covered with wooden roof, with stone sink and sitting place, where you can injoy in afternoon sun or have an evening snack with a beutifull wiew on Gruž harbour and marina.

On II floor, our lovely attic, you have spacious apartment divided in sleeping area with king size bed and living area , with nice kitchen and separate private bathroom with 4 roof windows to look throuhgh and reach out for your starr.

In front of main entrance there is 210m2 of green grass garden. All around the house there is spacious 250m2 terrase with full privacy, with swiming pool of 31m2, 1,30m deep, two showers, deckchairs, lounge place and garden dining table. Opposite of main house, next to the pool, there are additional two conected buildings, with upper entrance and garage for cars. There is tavern with built in barbecue place, fully eqipped kitchen with icemachine, table football for a fun and toilet. From tavern you can pass throuh the toilet to second part – 15m2 gym and sauna for 6 people with a shower. Above gym and sauna there is 33m2 apartment, with bedroom, bathroom and open living room with kitchen.

We can make a pleasant stay for 10+2 people.

All our bedrooms are equipped with hand made wooden double beds, 160×200 (1), 180×200(2) or 200x200cm(2) and we have two sofa beds . All rooms have air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, smart TV, hair dryer , towells, bathrobes . There is a safe, iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner and we can provide children cot and chair if necessary.

In master kitchen there is microwave, dishwasher, refrigirator with freezer and cold water, electric owen, electric cooker, kettle. In tavern you have stone built barbecue, diswasher, refrigirator with freezer, icemaker, gas cooker, table football. In gym there are TRX straps, boxing bag, rollers, kettle bells, pilates ball,slam ball.

All premises are air conditioned and have smart TV.

We would like our guests to feell comfortable and enjoy their time on hollidays but we have to respect our neighbours as well so we kindly ask our guests to keep loud talking, music, late conversations and hanging outside on terrase under control and inside the house after 11 p.m. also as a swimming in swimming pool. No pets allowed. No overnight guests allowed. No smoking allowed inside the premises. Check in time 16:00-00:00 check out time 10:00.

So, why to choose Villa Enigma?

If not for all that we have mentioned and we are very proud of, then maybe for a reason that this house was built by father of Dusan Popov who lived here in his early age and was one of the most famous double agent during Warld War II. He exactly was Ian Flemming’s inspiration for James Bond character. Maybe Enigma is a future name for a James Bond movie?
